Meet The Team
Enrollment Services Coord.
Once I started my college education at 26 when I signed up for classes at Glendale Community College, I knew that I wanted to be in college for the rest of my life, and it was my good fortune to do just that as college professor or administrator over the past 30+ years. I just love the environment! I hope your studies at the Extension and SJCC will inspire you to work hard for your goals and dreams. I’m living mine. Come in to say, “hola,” sometimes because I’d love to hear your story, as well.
I have 10+ years of college admissions, enrollment and outreach experience in public and private Universities. Introducing students to the best academic options at the intersections of college and career is my calling. As an enrollment & student services professional my duties and epertise include student outreach, admissions and records, financial aid, and student events. I am interested in connecting with you to further discuss how we can collaborate and promote your academic endeavors.
I have been working in the community college system for nearly six years, and have had a variety of roles throughout student services. As a counselor, my job is to make sure our students have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their classes and in their lives. My office door is open to help with the full range of academic counseling services.
My name is Tiffany Rodriguez-Tran and I am the new Senior Division Administrative Assistant for the Milpitas Extension! Prior to accepting the position at the Extension, I have served as an Outreach and Recruitment Specialist for Student Development and Activities at SJCC for the past three years. Also, I am an SJCC alum who earned an AA in liberal arts before transferring to UCLA to earn my BS in cognitive science and then to USF to earn my MA in higher education and student affairs. If you have any questions please let me know, I would be happy to help.
